This includes F150 Harley Davidson, King Ranch, SVT Raptor, FX2, FX4, Platinum, Lariat, and STX editions. Normally, the fan speed changes only to maintain a selected temperature, but when the fan speed changes frequently and needlessly, there is an issue with the fan speed control unit.
Ford has some good engines but I do miss the old 300 six. Ford needs to come out with a good I6. I don`t think much of the V6 they have now. My truck had the 302 in it. Good engine but under powered for what it was. I had a 300 in a 80 f 150. I wish I could get that truck new today.
Engine is overheating. Installed new thermstat, water pump, clutch fan and radiator. Motor is a 5.0 efi, the first year ford changed to the serpantine belt , so it has a reverse water pump. Coolant doesn't circulate thru bottom radiator hose and engine over heats. Have back flushed cooling system twice but still over heats.
